母亲节。

HappyMotherDay to every Mother in the Earth!
You cannot bear her nagging then she starts to nag lesser.
You cannot bear her questioning your life then she chooses to know it herself.
You cannot bear her trying to use new tech which she barely needs the basic.
But you know all the changes are for her children.

She has been through the hard times, found a man who loves her to the max.
She always worries about her children until she found it useless and hide the worries inside her heart.
Something bad but not the worst happened yesterday.
You see the tears rolling inside her red eyes for seconds.
It’s not the first time. Yet, this time you don’t know what should be said or done as a comfort.
And, you realize if something really happens one day, her children are the one who should support her till the end.

I think, every woman is not strong. But they will be strong for the sake of her belonging. A home.
She probably is not the best mom in the world, but at least is the irreplaceable woman for me.
———
Don’t you agree
When they all say
“Home is where the heart is.”
But do you see
With every step that you take,
You get further away
From where the heart is.

It’s so easy to be blinded
& caught up in the clouds where everything’s in a haze
Causing you to forget about the days,
Of the common, simple, beautiful ways.

I remember all the times that I had spent with my friends.
Taking BART to San Francisco just for 350 cents.
Talking, laughing, joking – didn’t quite k now what was to come.
Years of memories, irreplaceable fun.

I remember telling mom that I’d make her proud one day.
She would smile and knew exactly all the right things to say.
Man, I miss her & can’t wait till I get back to the bay.
Back to the common, simple, beautiful ways.

Isn’t it nice,
To simply know,
There’s somewhere you can go back to.
So it’s a big sacrifice
Everytime that you decide
You can’t even if you want to.
